About The Event
Itinerary for a Rainy Day in Paris
1. Start at Palais Royal. Built in 1633 for Cardinal Richelieu, the Palais Royal became a center for politics, theater, and society in Paris, hosting royalty and revolutionaries alike.
Address: 8 Rue de Montpensier, 75001 Paris
2. Passage Vivienne. Opened in 1823, this elegant covered passage became a favorite of the bourgeoisie for its upscale boutiques and refined atmosphere. We'll make a stop at its best vintage and craft boutiques and bookstores. Maybe grab a coffee at Bougainville, a retro bistrot whose style hasn't changed since the 60's.
Address: 5 Rue de la Banque, 75002 Paris
3. Passage des Panoramas: Opened in 1799, it’s one of the oldest covered passages in Paris and was originally a hub for luxury goods and entertainment. Now it's a hotspot of bistronomie but its old stamps, prints and old collectible shops are still there too!
